Why Montreal?

Glad you asked! Montreal is the 4th oldest city in Canada. It’s home to diverse communities from all across the globe, and like many cities, there are deep issues facing its people. Tourism tries to hide these issues, while our Learning Experience is aimed at shining a light on the problems, experiencing them, and meeting people making a difference.

Our Team will be travelling by train, and will connect with the following organizations: Sun Youth, Welfare Avenue, Batiment 7, and Care Montreal will be our host and main site. Our team will experience diverse global cuisine, will immerse themselves in local issues like poverty, homelessness and gentrification, and will grow as a team.
